Breakout Bronze Breakout Silver Breakout Gold The object of Breakout is to shoot a ball at bricks and not let the ball drop as it bounces back towards you. You can control your paddle at the bottom of the game area with the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. Dropping the ball costs you one life. If you run out of lives, the game is over. Clearing the screen of all breakable bricks will move you to the next level.

Breakout Play Area Power-Ups

Breaking bricks will sometimes drop a Power-Up. Catch Power-Ups to take on its effects. Common Power-Ups include:

Paddle extension, a green + ball
Paddle shrinkage, a red - ball
Ball speed up, a green arrow
Ball slow down, a red arrow
30 bonus points, a Snubbu
Rockets
